The project centers around the innovative repurposing of a historical, unused building. This structure was originally located nearby and has been translocated and transformed for its new purpose. In a bold architectural statement, the building is meticulously sliced in half, with one part retaining its classical architectural features to preserve the historical essence.
The other half of the building diverges sharply into modernity, featuring a state-of-the-art glass façade. This contemporary addition has a curtain wall system that utilises translucent glazing, blending functionality with aesthetic appeal. This design choice enhances the building’s modern allure and floods the interior with natural light while maintaining privacy and energy efficiency.
Strategically positioned at the shore, the restaurant offers direct water access, allowing guests to arrive via boats and yachts directly into the heart of the dining experience. This unique feature capitalises on the picturesque waterfront setting, making the establishment an attractive destination for both local and visiting patrons.
